So why not take your diving to the next level and complete your Advanced Open Water whilst you’re on the Great Barrier Reef?
This 3 day, 2 night trip with the crew of Deep Sea Divers Den allows you to take the next step in your dive career as well as soak up the natural beauty of the reef.
You’ll kick back on board their beautiful, custom made dive vessel and clock up 5 dives to complete your advanced open water certification as well as 6 fun dives – that’s 11 dives in total, including 2 night dives!
Day 1
7.45am pick up from your city accommodation
8.00am Board our fast modern transfer boat for 90 minute transfer to Outer Barrier Reef
Equipment selection
2 fun dives before transferring to our Live aboard vessel at 2.30pm
Afternoon dive and night dive for the Advanced course

3.00pm Depart Outer Barrier Reef
Return to your accommodation approx. 5pm

Prerequisites: PADI Open Water (or equivalent)

– Cairns city transfers
– All quality diving and snorkelling equipment, including wetsuits and dive computer
– 2 Cell torch hire for night dive

– All training dives on the Outer Great Barrier Reef

What’s not included: Reef and Port Authority charge $20 (includes $3.50 EMC, $16.50 fuel levy, Port & Administration charges and GST) per day at sea.
What to bring: Clothes for 2 days. Towels for showers and dive deck. Money for soft drinks/alcohol, snacks etc, hat, swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, Open Water C-card and log books.
*You will be asked to fill out a medical statement and complete a scuba reiew.
