Who Are We?
RTW Backpackers is part of Stoked Adventure Group Ltd and was setup by award winning travel blogger Chris from BackpackerBanter.com – after years on the road enjoying some incredible experiences in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and South East Asia he wanted to help others put together their dream trips and make the most of some of the best travel destinations on the planet.
He has recruited an amazing team of travel experts to help him out too – all of whom have one thing in common; they love to explore!
Whether it’s fellow travel blogger Stephen from A Backpackers Tale, Australia expert Carla or adrenaline junkie Jimmy, whichever RTW Backpackers team member you end up chatting with you can be assured of honest, helpful advice from someone who has heaps of on the road experience.
There’s no office monkeys here – just genuine, passionate travellers!
What Do We Do?
Simply put – we connect travellers with awesome experiences all over the globe! Although admittedly we do specialise in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and South East Asia. We’ve got an amazing team out sourcing heap of new products too – including Surfing in South Africa and Learning Spanish in Ecuador so stay tuned for those to be launched!
We’ve also teamed up with some incredible photographers and videographer (including The Path Less Travelled who helped out with our main promo video) to bring you heaps more travel inspiration!

Although the site is in English we know that sometimes it’s just easier to chat in your native tongue, which is why we’ve recruited some awesome, multi lingual travel specialists to make the booking process even easier!

We love helping people explore more of what the world has to offer, but we also realise that the world is far from perfect.
That’s why we donate a percentage of our profits each year to the amazing Sea Shepherd who have made it their mission to protect the worlds oceans and marine life.
As passionate surfers, scuba divers and ocean lovers we’ve seen first hand how the big blue is being affected by humans and we’re happy to be able to contribute to helping their cause.
