The Waitomo glow worms caves are one of the best activities on the North Island of New Zealand and if you’re looking to combine this with some serious adrenaline then look no further than the Haggas Honking Holes tour.
You’ll join the crew of Waitomo Adventures and descend 80m underground where you’ll get a full caving experience – abseiling down waterfalls, crawling through tunnels and underground river as well as checking out the stunning array of stalagmites and stalactites that fill the caverns below.
And of course you’ll get to meet the glow worms themselves, turning off your lights to take in their beautiful glow peppering the cave ceilings.
