Discover the beauty of the Whitsunday Islands on this epic Avatar Whitsundays Sailing adventure departing from Airlie Beach.

Your 2 day, 2 night sailing adventure in the Whitsundays on board Avatar will take in all the highlights that this part of Australia is famous for – from Hill Inlet lookout to Whitehaven Beach – and we’re sure it’ll be one of your favourite adventures on the East Coast!

Your home for the trip will be the gorgeous Avatar boat – an 18.3m long ex racing trimaran, built for speed but renovated for comfort and adventure!

Along with your experienced and fun crew you’ll sail around the Whitsunday Islands under full sail (weather and wind dependent of course!) and you’ll have plenty of space to relax and soak up the views, including the 2 spacious nets with just the ocean below you.

It’s 2 days full days filled with sailing, adventure, postcard perfect views and a few cold beers amongst the tropical islands of the Whitsundays – what more could you ask for?

Day 1

Sail out to one of the Whitsundays most picturesque islands and jump in the water to experience what all this fuss about Whitsundays Snorkelling is about. While we sail around to our first sleeping location in the protected waters of Whitsunday Island. Settle into the evening on the deck with one of your beer/wine’s and tuck into some freshly cooked dinner, sourced locally of course. Weather and Tide Dependent.

Day 2

Wake up bright and early to a freshly cooked breakfast. Today, depending entirely on weather/tides you can look forward to two other snorkels at two different beautiful locations around the islands OR a quick 10 minute bushwalk up to Hill Inlet Lookout, take a quick pic of Whitehaven Beach, then a short stroll on to the world famous Whitehaven Beach. Also expect a fully catered Lunch and Dinner 99% of the time we can expect to get to Whitehaven Beach. Weather/Tide Dependent

Day 3

Wake up early again this morning to breakfast and the potential for another snorkel. With the hope to get one more snorkel before heading back to Airlie Beach. Weather/Tide Dependent

Departs: Tuesday at 11.00am, Thursday at 11.00am, Saturday at 11.00am

Returns: Thursday at 9.30am, Saturday at 9.30am, Monday at 9.30am.

All OzSail Vessel departures and itineraries are subject to weather and may be changed or cancelled at OzSail’s discretion. OzSail reserves the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time and for any reason.

OzSail reserves the right to cancel any trip, or reduce trip duration, in any circumstances, including those which pose a safety risk to you, the OzSail vessel or crew, such as severe weather, including cyclones.

If an OzSail trip is cancelled by OzSail prior to or on the scheduled departure date, you will be referred back to the travel agent through which you booked your trip on an OzSail Vessel.

If your trip duration is reduced during the trip due to Unforeseen Circumstances, you may be offered a future trip on an OzSail Vessel, at no cost to you, depending on the amount of time by which your original trip on an OzSail Vessel was reduced and, subject to availability. You acknowledge that “Unforseen Circumstances” includes but is not limited to the following; inclement weather, issues pertaining to the OzSail Vessel and any medical emergency, such as injury to guests or crew.

You acknowledge that if you cancel your travel on an OzSail Vessel less than 21 days before the trip departure date, this will result in the forfeiture by you of the full trip price.

If you request a transfer of a trip departure date up to at least 72 hours before the day of scheduled departure this will incur a $30 transfer fee. No Transfers will be accepted under this 72 hr. period

Luggage Limit
Same as airline carry-on size allowed.

To Check in: Option 1 – Check-In online: Go to www.ozsail.com.au and follow the “Check-In online” option, in the top-right corner. Option 2 – Check-In at OzSail Reservations Office 3/398 Shute Harbour Rd Airlie Beach. The day before departure between 12pm-4pm OR @ 8.30am – 9:30am the day of departure.
