You’ll start your day with a stunning 60 minute scenic flight over the beautiful Whitsunday Islands – taking in Whitehaven Beach and the famous Heart Reef too!
Once you’ve landed safely back its time to head out on the Ocean Rafting day trip to experience it from the beach and ocean too!
You’ll visit spots like including Hill Inlet, Whitehaven Beach and some of the amazing coral reefs that are dotted around the islands. It’s like packing 3 days into one!
Alongside the 60 minute Whitsundays scenic flight you’ll jump on the Southern Lights day trip.
Southern Lights (more beach time): If you’re looking to chill out and top up your tan this is the way to go! You’ll spend at least two hours soaking up the beauty of Whitehaven Beach, enjoying guided walks through the National Park and some stunning views over Hill Inlet before heading to some amazing snorkelling spots.
It’s the ideal way to see the Whitsunday Islands from both air and sea!

What’s Included (Southern Lights):
60 minute scenic flight + Ocean Rafting Day trip
See the Whitsundays from above with a stunning Whitsunday scenic flight over the islands and Great Barrier Reef, including famous Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach
Visit both the northern and southern ends of Whitehaven Beach. Join our guided walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkel for over an hour at Border Island, Dumbell Island or one of our secret snorkel spots. We will visit the best spot on the day, weather depending. Tour includes courtesy bus pickup, personalised snorkel instruction, reef and island naturalist talks, guided National Park walk, snorkel floatation devices, use of snorkel equipment and cake for afternoon tea.

What to bring
A beach bag with a towel, hat and shoes
A jacket during winter to protect you from wind and for warmth after snorkelling.
Cameras in a waterproof case or Tupperware.
Cash for water, soft drinks, fruit juices and chocolates for sale on board.
Everything you need for the day as you will not return to your accommodation between tours.
Ocean Rafting tour:
Departs: 10.00am
Returns: 4.30pm
Ocean Rafting flight:
Departs: 8.30am
Returns: 9.30am
Drinks, snacks and wetsuit hire are optional extras.

Office hours 7am till 8.30pm – 7 days a week. Water, softdrinks and chocolates for sale on boat. wetsuit/stinger suit hire is payable direct to Ocean Rafting on check in. Prescription masks also available for hire. Northern Exposure Tours depart Abell Point Marina North (next to Sorrento Restaurant & Bar) in Airlie Beach daily at 8.45am and return at 3.30pm. Courtesy coach pick ups are available from 7.45am – 8.30am or if making you own way, check in at 8.00am. We look forward to taking you on “THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE”!
