You’ll cruise along the beaches of Fraser Island in a 4×4 visiting spots like Lake Mackenzie, Indian Head Lookout, the Maheno Shipwreck and Champagne Pools whilst enjoying your evenings camping under the stars.
On the Whitsundays you’ll sail around these stunning tropical island visiting Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkelling the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef – sleeping on board a catamaran and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

You MUST attend the pre trip safety briefing @ 4pm, Dingos Hostel the night before your departure.
Day 1
After loading up all the 4x4s and completing the driver briefing it’s time to head to Fraser Island, departing by 9:30am, where you’ll catch the ferry and begin your adventure! Cruise up the beach and inland through the jungle tracks to the stunning Lake Mackenzie. Make sure you’ve packed your GoPro and swim stuff! Around 3pm we drive up the beach to our campsite, for an early dinner and some well deserved drinks and fun!
Day 2
Time for your first full day on Fraser Island! Highlights from the day include;
•Floating peacefully down Eli Creek
•Taking some awesome pics at the magnificent Maheno Shipwreck
•Stunning views across the coastline from Indian Head Lookout
•Coloured Sands and The Pinnacles
Day 3
Your final day on the island! Wake up early to make the most of the last of your time by hiking through the rainforest tracks to Lake Wabby – the deepest lake on the island and the perfect spot for a morning swim. After checking out the surrounding sand dunes it’s time to make your way down the island to the ferry crossing.
Once back on the mainland we head back to the 4WD shed where you unpack and quickly clean the cars. We return to Dingos Resort between 3pm and 4pm

Accommodation: 2 nights camping on Fraser Island
Cancellations NOT permitted within 7 days and changes are NOT permitted within 72 hours of arrival date at Dingos.
Driver Requirements: To drive on Fraser you MUST be 21 or over with a FULL manual license. You must have held this license for a minimum of 1 year and you must have the license with you.

Tongarra Menu:-
- BREAKFAST: Fresh breads, selection of honey, peanut butter, vegemite, jams, fresh fruit platter, muesli or cornflakes and tea or coffee
- LUNCH: Cold meats, cheese, tuna salad, garden salad, fresh bread/rolls/wraps
- DINNER: First Night: Herbed BBQ white fish on a bed of mashed potato served with coleslaw and Australian damper
- DINNER: Second Night: Tasty spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread
- SNACKS: Fresh fruit, biscuits, cake selection, chips & dips.
Dietary Requirements: Please note we will substitute all main meals free of charge however we suggest those sufering from celiac disease supply their own snacks.

Open tickets MUST give 21 days’ notice to book.
All bookings MUST reconfirm 72hrs in prior to departure during office hours (9am-5pm). Ph: 1300 653 100 or 07 4940 2000. Transfers must give 72hrs notice. Please book at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Travel Insurance is highly recommended particularly during wet season (Jan-Apr). Cancellations within 21 days of departure will forfeit cost of trip.
Check in at Whitsunday Sailing Adventures 402 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach (Opposite Fish D’Vine) from 9am-5pm on the day prior to travel or before 11am on day of departure. BYO Alcohol and drinks (no glass or red wine) LUGGAGE can be stored for just AU$5 per person. ONLY ZIPLESS BAGS will be accepted on-board. It is advised to bring a rain jacket during summer months (Jan – April) and warmer clothes during winter months (June-September). Departure day may change over the Christmas & New Year each year. Only zipless bags will be allowed on the vessel.
The total price includes the following local charges – Environmental Marine Charges – $10.50 ($3.50 per day), Queensland Parks and Wildlife – $1.74, Fuel Levy – $5 and Admin – $2.76 per person per trip
