That’s why we’ve teamed up with our buddies at LaPoint and their Sri Lanka Surf Camp – so you can learn to surf in Sri Lanka in style!

This beginner surf camp option is perfect for those with little or no surf experience and you’ll be taught everything you need to ride the waves by the LaPoint team of certified surf instructors – from the basics of paddling and popping through to in water safety.

With 5 surf lessons per week you’ll quickly find your feet (quite literally!) and be up riding the waves and feeling the stoke along with your new surf buddies! On top of that you’ll improve your surf strength with some yoga lessons which are also the ideal way to warm down after a busy day in the ocean.

And of course all the equipment you’ll need it included, along with transport to and from the surf breaks – so get ready to load up the tuk tuks and find the best waves for the days conditions!

Based in the town of Ahangama there are two Sri Lanka Surf Camp accommodation options to choose from – the Beach Villa or the Garden Villa. Both have pools for you to enjoy a refreshing dip in and despite lacking the ocean views the Garden Villa is only a quick stroll from the water.
