You’ll join the crew from Franz Josef Glacier Guides for a two part trip. First off is a gorgeous scenic helicopter flight (a bucket list item in its own right!) where you’ll take in some incredible views over this sprawling glacier and the surrounding mountain ranges.
Then after landing on the upper part of Franz Josef Glacier you’ll then enjoy a 2 hour hike on the ice where your experienced guide will tell you more about the history of the glacier as you navigate through spectacular ice formations and even traverse through brilliantly blue ice caves.
Your Franz Josef Glacier heli hike also includes entry to the Glacier Hot Pools too – the perfect way to relax after an adventure on the ice!
