In reply to Daveyboy. Yeah it really depends per day or when the guards feel they can get away with letting you in. It's definitely a lot tougher now than when I was there. Maybe try again one day?

This tour looks amazing. I’ve read Marching Powder too and had no idea there was a film being released. Really looking forward to the film but I guess it means I’ll probably next get the chance to see inside the prison.

It’s certainly a unique experience- was quite pleased when we were finally let out though. The burger was surprisingly good- was a little worried about what would actually be in it but i was assured it was beef!

Couldn’t get in when I went which was gutting. Heard though the week before people had managed to get on a tour – luck of the draw I guess but sounds pretty eye-opening. Nice piece.
